The project transforms two existing houses in Brussels into eight social housing units, maintaining their original structure as a coherent system. The renovation involves the removal of annexes and the rationalization of spaces while preserving a single interior circulation. A new façade extension, designed with clarity and efficiency,expands the living areas and integrates private terraces opening onto the garden. While ensuring continuity with the existing buildings, the rear façade is carefully considered, incorporating recesses that allow natural light to penetrate deep into the living spaces. This addition establishes a third sequence, echoing the enfilade rooms characteristic of Brussels houses.
